Course Syllabus
Welcome to the Goldston's Art Stop Syllabus.
Listed below are sample images and headers of what you will find with each assignment. This syllabus will become your map through the rest of this course.
As you know, the times that we are living in are easily stressed and new to any experience that we have ever had. My personal goal is to create art projects that I believe will be fun and academic for both parent and child. I count it an honor to serve you all.
The first image that you will see within each assignment will be my art logo to welcome you to each page. See sample below.
Next you will see my our Art Stop Theme Song looped by my husband. Select the image and the song will begin to play as you read the instructions. See sample below.
TITLE: will be in green.
There will always be an introduction into the assignment.
IMAGE(S): I will try to upload a sample of what the project might look like. See sample below.
DIRECTIONS:
I. Make A Choice:
Option 1:
You will have at least 2 options to complete the steps of the project. Option 1 will allow you to build the project using supplies.
Option 2:
The second option will be an opportunity to draw the image if you are not able to obtain the supplies. Hand over hand or independently by your child.
II. Make A Choice:
You will have many opportunities for creativity by choosing between your supplies and how you desire to manipulate the construction of your project.
VOCABULARY: for our babies will be fun. I will personally create a matching assignment that will include some focus words to represent student vocabulary.
SUPPLIES: will be listed. I will always be mindful and make sure they are easily obtainable. Should their be any issues to get supplies, you will always have an second option to draw your project.
FINISHED PRODUCTS: You will be asked to take a picture of the finished product and upload it to canvas to be graded and later to become a part of the Digital Art Exhibit.
LASTLY: you will be asked to place your picture in a folder or box and store in a safe place to later be combined with future projects to form an Artist Portfolio Book of all of your art projects
CREATIVITY: is always encouraged.
