About the Author
Prior to joining NCSSM, Dr. Hector Rosario was a tenured professor of mathematics at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez (2003-2015). He is the co-founding director of the Chapel Hill Math Circle
Links to an external site., an initiative that identifies and nurtures mathematical talent in children in grades K-12. He is the principal editor of the 17-nation anthology, Mathematics and Its Teaching in the Southern Americas
