Welcome to the 2020-21 Parkview Elementary Open House! We are excited to start the 2020-21 school year! No matter what this school year brings, we are in this together!

Tonight's format will run as follows.

Each teacher will hold three LIVE 15-minute sessions.
- Session #1: 5:05 - 5:20
- Session #2: 5:25 - 5:40
- Session #3: 5:45 - 6:00
Each session will share the same information.
- There is no need to attend the same teacher's session more than once.
The reason for this, is so that you can meet with all your student's teachers, including Specials teachers, and also in the case that you have more than one student attending Parkview.
Please make sure that we are accessing the sessions as timely as possible so that information is not missed.
- The last session will be recorded in the instance that you are not able to attend a teacher's session.

Step 2: Click your grade level and then teacher's name to access the teacher's introductory video and a link to the live session.

You will repeat this step until you meet all your student's teachers and Specials teachers.
- Note: K - 2 students have one core teacher, students in grade 3 - 5 will have all the teachers for that grade level. All Specials teachers will meet together.
You may watch the introductory videos at a later time if time does not permit.

Device Survey: We will work to ensure that all scholars who need a device get one in order to access their remote learning lessons, materials and resources. Please complete the form in the link below if your scholar needs a school device.

Teachers begin calling scholars and their families: Our teachers and staff will reach out once class rosters are finalized. With the enrollment in the eLearning Virtual Academy, our teacher allotment might vary. Therefore, we will be finalizing class rosters as soon as we can, and you will receive information on who your scholar’s homeroom teacher will be.

Virtual Open House: Open house plans are still being finalized and will be shared with our Parkview families during the teacher calls.

Device distribution: Beginning the week of August 17th, we will begin the device distribution to the families that need a device to complete remote learning. We will send more information about times and logistics through Connect-Ed and ClassDojo to those families not later than Friday, August 14th.

LIVE Instruction: Teachers will be providing LIVE instruction at the following times Monday-Thursday: 8:45 - 9:30; 12:15 - 1:00; 2:00 - 2:30. Friday's will be Flex-Fridays - small group and individual checkins/assessments.
