Today we will review comparing fractions! Remember the symbols and the rules we use when comparing fractions.

1. When the numerators are the same, look at the denominator. The bigger the number, the smaller the piece.

Example: 3/4 is greater than 3/6

2. When the denominators are the same, look at the numerator. The bigger the number the bigger the piece.

Example: 2/3 is less than 3/3.

Directions: Use the fraction models to help you answer each question. Take your time and be precise!
